Type A water meter

The type A meter features a removable control panel for Auxiliary Batch Authority Control by Umbilical Setting (ABACUS) which allows the preset quantity of water to be set for a production run. It can then be disconnected, preventing the operator from changing the preset value. This means that the operator only has to push the RUN button when a batch is required. Some systems can have an auto-run facility by using an auxilliary volt-free contact on an external machine.
