The ICE stainless steel water chiller operates from a 15 mm cold mains water supply pipe. The inlet water passes through sealed pipework inside a bath of ice water kept at a very low temperature by a refrigerated coil in the bath itself. An automatic stirrer keeps the ice water in the bath moving around for optimum temperature equalisation.

 

There are no pumps necessary and if required the system can be fed directly into an ABACUS digital water system to allow temperature-controlled batching.
